Warsaw, Poland is towards the center of Poland. It inhabits 1.3 Million people. Jews had occupied about 30% of Warsaws population, roughly 350,000 Jews. Warsaw was the capital of Poland in 1919. On September 1, 1939 German attacked Poland and they later surrendered. Less than a week later, German officials ordered the establishment of a Jewish council. Warsaw later was established as a Ghetto by Nazi Germany.
What I've learned about Genocide
I've learned that Genocide can be stopped by another country when that specific country thinks what the accused is doing wrong, And/or killing alot of people.

iWitness Activity: November 14th, 2011
The person I researched was Hüsenig, Kharpert. He was about 7-8 when he experienced the Armenian genocide first hand. The picture looks uneasy as if he was surprised that his experience was happening and he may have been scared as well. When he was put in a pile and the men started jabbing the kids with their swords. He only got sliced on his cheek once and he was covered in blood so they couldn't tell that Kharpert was not dead. I think after the jabbing; Kharpert then got cleaned up and told his story and became a legend.
